Chrysalis Committees
Change Team
The Chrysalis Change Team is a multi-racial, intercultural, cross-role committee with a vision of continually moving Chrysalis forward in living its mission fully, both internally and externally, by creating and disseminating:
- models for equitable relationships
- safe spaces for consensus and disagreement
- recognition of a dominant culture and power dynamics, and,
- equitable and inclusive practices
Social Butterfly Committee
The Social Butterfly Committee provides a space for building connections within the community, recognizing accomplishments, and enhancing community awareness. Committee members are vital in organizing various events, including the annual Chrysalis Success Celebration, fundraising initiatives, and social gatherings. They also focus on gathering and sharing stories about wellness, recovery, and Chrysalis programs and services.
Chrysalis Advisory Committee
The Chrysalis Advisory Committee (CAC) was established in 2018 to provide participants, peers, and colleagues of Chrysalis with an opportunity to offer valuable input that helps shape the agency’s services and the broader mental health system. In addition to sharing feedback, CAC members develop work and leadership skills, build confidence, discover a sense of purpose, and foster a sense of community. CAC members participate in monthly meetings and receive compensation for their time. They also serve on agency committees, supporting efforts to reduce the stigma around mental illness and strengthen community connections.
2025 Chrysalis Meeting Schedule
In 2025, CAC will be reimagined in a new format to expand inclusion and amplify the voices of those we serve and share our community with. The purpose of the space will remain the same. We acknowledge the value that CAC’s original format brought to our community and appreciate the connections and learning shared there.
- Chrysalis Advisory Town Hall. The Chrysalis Advisory Town Hall is a peer-led, staff-limited gathering space in a town hall-style. All peers, participants, and colleagues receiving services at Chrysalis are welcome to attend. Participants will be provided a meal in return for their time and input. Like the preceding format, participants can expect to share their insight about the Chrysalis Community, refine their work and leadership skills, grow their confidence, discover their purpose, and play an active role in creating a supportive community.
- Chrysalis All-Community Meetings. Chrysalis All-Community Meetings are a monthly space that includes all peers, participants, colleagues, staff, and board members. Guided by our commitment to connection, shared learning, and transparency, these meetings serve as a platform for collaborative growth and engagement. Each meeting features topics related to our organization, showcases presentations on the impactful work of our programs, and shares valuable information from community partners. All-Community Meetings foster opportunities to step away from our individual responsibilities and gather collectively in our shared purpose to center hope, healing, and wellness.
